Tubkaak is the name of the most romantic and secluded beach in Krabi which literally means "Homes for Visitors". The award winning Tubkaak Krabi resort is designed and operated with care and respect for the environment. When built, the green hotel in Krabi avoided cutting mature trees and now enjoys cool shade from the tall canopies reducing the use of energy.
Native flora were also preserved such as the Laurel Alexandria and Arundina orchid which inspired the names of the Laurel Suite and Arundina Restaurant. Organic fertiliser nourishes the gardens and fresh water is sourced from Khao Hang Nak mountain, adding to the resort's impressive list of eco-achievements. The interior inspiration also derives from local nature with delicate prints of birds, leaves and flowers adorning the walls, that actually live and grow within the resort.
